Excursion is FREE on Steam
... Mostly because it sucks.
(It was our first published game after all)

A tool that's primarily made to make dungeon layouts for TTRPGs

It lets you place props and NPCs (from our very limited selection) around as well.

We where afraid of having anything having commonalities with any TTRPG system as we didn't understand copyrights or anything at the time, so some odd design choices where made.

Not much to it. I guess if what's listed below are the only things you need, then it'd be OK I guess.

Has a very limited multiplayer mode

The person who makes the dungeon can host a "Multiplayer" game, where other people can join and move characters around from a third person perspective.

There's also our attempt at having the game roll for attacks for you. It's not based off of any TTRPG rule set, just a percentage inherited from the player's weapon.

The UI is definitely Programmer art, just thrown in. It made sense while making it, but after getting out there, we noticed it was hard to navigate. It was made in such a way that it was incredibly difficult to change on our side, so we never did.

Made in Unreal Engine 4 in only a few months

Pretty much tried to publish it as soon as possible, as I (The programmer, and main managing person of Glyphs In Lines) was out of high school, with no job, and running out of money.

I know that I can make it significantly better.

Maybe we'll make a sequel / complete overhaul update one day.

This Sequel would maybe also contain an example campaign map of our TTRPG that we play.

You can find it on Steam here.
(Please excuse the cringey trailer lol, we thought it was funny at the time. Credit to Walter Willits for making it with very little direction from us.)

Credits for this game below. Anyone marked N/A was not a member at the time of creation. I just think it looks blank without all the symbols there.
